Community service is more than yardwork. Community Resource Centers need people to host classes and help with arts and culture programs.

We Need You

We create meaningful and impactful projects and programs to support neighbors with needs of all kinds. But we need your help to build strong neighborhoods in Utah.

Good neighborhoods are built by good neighbors.

When you volunteer through Cities Strong Foundation, you’re joining something bigger than a single project. You’re helping build lasting, local impact right here in Utah.

Where You Can Serve

We currently help connect volunteers with service opportunities hosted by other organizations in several Utah communities along the Wasatch Front, including Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Ogden, Layton, Provo, Orem, and Santaquin.

Every area has unique needs, but Cities Strong Foundation supports:

  • Partner nonprofit initiatives
  • myHometown neighborhood hub activities
  • Skill-based and professional volunteering
  • Neighborhood revitalization projects
  • School and youth support
  • Community events and city-wide service days

Each opportunity is vetted, organized, and aligned with real local priorities.

  • Commit to a safe and welcoming environment
  • Follow partner organization guidelines
  • Some opportunities may require age minimums or background checks

We believe service is for everyone — and we work to create inclusive opportunities that reflect the diversity of our communities.
