Cities Strong Foundation’s guiding notion is that when neighbors collaborate, we can solve complex social, generational, environmental, and educational problems together. We’re building something rare: a movement that bridges businesses, faith communities, nonprofits, and civic leaders in joyful, meaningful action.
Impact
This effort is nonpartisan, interfaith, and multisector. We bring together people who don’t typically share the same table, and create magic when they do.
There is joy in serving together. Service with purpose helps transform communities through connection, and lives are changed through collective action.
We’ve targeted specific communities along the Wasatch Front by design with our collective impact model. By operating in key zip codes where the need is greatest and where system change is most possible, we can help influence neighborhoods in positive ways that impact upward mobility.
Community Coordination
Cities Strong Foundation doesn’t replace partners; we help them work together. We provide infrastructure and coordination for our partners. Our goal is simple: to amplify and coordinate the good work happening in neighborhoods in Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Ogden, Layton, Provo, Orem, and Santaquin.
We Need You, Neighbor
There are many ways to work with Cities Strong Foundation.
Donate: Your dollars help support important programs in key areas.
Volunteer: Ready to get to work? We’re always looking for a good neighbor.
Partner: Are you ready to collaborate in your community? Contact us today.
Neighborhood Hub Locations
You’re invited to join us at your local Neighborhood Hub—also known as a Community Resource Center (CRC)—on most Tuesday and Thursday evenings. These CRCs are operated by myHometown Utah and we work to augment and support their efforts.
These are welcoming, neighborhood-based spaces for connecting, learning, and spending time together. Whether you’re coming for activities, support, or simply to be around others, there’s a place for you. With locations across Layton, Ogden, Orem, Provo, Salt Lake City, Santaquin, and West Valley City, it’s easy to find a hub near you—no need to register, just come by and be part of your community.
