Neighborhood Hubs

Community outreach event hosted by City of Orem myHometown, connecting residents to local programs and family support services in Utah

Neighborhood Hubs in Utah

Cities Strong Foundation works with myHometown to support 17+ Neighborhood Hubs along the Wasatch Front. These centers serve as the location hub for free classes in English, computer skills, mental health, kids’ programs and tutoring, art, finance, music, and more. This shared community space creates connection and supports upward mobility in critical Utah neighborhoods.

Cities Strong Foundation is proud to partner with myHometown to support Community Resource Centers along the Wasatch Front.

Neighborhood Hub Coordination

Good neighborhoods are created when people feel connected, and a safe, welcoming place to gather and grow is important to the work of building true community. These neighborhood hubs bring together classes, volunteer opportunities, case management referrals, and partners all under one roof. Cities Strong Foundation is the anchor that brings together all of these people and programs.

How Neighborhood Hubs Help Communities

Cities Strong Foundation partners with faith leaders, municipalities, and local leaders to activate neighborhood hubs. Our funding efforts provide supplies, materials, and resources to help make activities possible. Everything from crayons to instruments to computers is accessible when we combine resources. Neighborhood Hubs are a place where neighbors teach neighbors, and community ownership can grow over time.

Why Neighborhood Hubs Are Important

We are investing in long-term support, and with community centers like these, we believe that neighborhoods only get stronger. Offering programs and enriching activities creates stability and growth opportunities for families, youth, and newcomers. Volunteering and serving your community through joyful service can profoundly change the trajectory of neighborhoods and their people.

How Cities Strong Foundation Supports Neighborhood Hubs

We are focused on lifting in key areas in Utah with the most need to create the most upward mobility for these neighborhoods. Our fundraising efforts are robust, and much of this work qualifies for matching grants and funding. We also work with corporate partners that want to support the community in meaningful ways. Our role is to create a foundation that makes this volunteer work possible.

Support the Neighborhood Hubs in Your Area

There are two important ways you can support these neighborhood hubs.

Volunteer: We need neighbors who are interested in showing up to help. We’ll create the opportunities and bring the supplies; we just need you! Find volunteer opportunities here.

Donate: We work hard to advocate for Utah neighborhoods and seek out grants and funding opportunities, but we also need your support! Your donation supplies materials critical to these revitalization projects. Donate today!
