Bringing together volunteers, neighbors, and local leaders to strengthen neighborhoods, block by block, city by city, in Utah. Together, we make our cities strong.
Cities Strong Foundation uses a collective impact model to align businesses, faith communities, nonprofits, and civic leaders in targeted neighborhoods along the Wasatch Front.
By providing coordination and support—not replacing partners—we amplify local efforts, strengthen upward mobility, and create meaningful opportunities for neighbors to give, serve, and collaborate. Our focus areas:

myHometown runs 17+ Community Resource Centers where neighbors help neighbors learn and grow.

Help neighbors spruce up yards and tackle repairs—bringing the community together one block at a time.

Leader in Me builds student leadership through a proven, in-school model—we also support literacy and in-school volunteering.

Good Samaritan Foundation jumps in when neighbors hit hard times—covering emergency bills while case managers create long-term plans.

NOMAS legal clinics give neighbors with established legal pathways free help from licensed attorneys.

Cities or businesses put up a dollar, and we match it, multiplying the impact to make cities strong, block by block.
